Breakfast donuts

I made these yesterday, they are in the fridge for the weekend , I will freeze a couple too ! 😬..

I was doing my #fridgeforage recipe for the fridge & cupboard clear out !

They really are tasty!

Ingredients-

100g old fashioned rolled oats -389 calories

20g oatbran-49 calories

1 large egg -78 calories

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup almond milk -40 calories

1/4 cup greek yogurt -34 calories

2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce ( instead of butter or oil ) 12 calories

2 tbsp sweetner

1 tsp vanilla extract

Decoration-

Chopped strawberries & blueberries

602 calories for all 12

So just over 50 calories each 😊

Instructions

In a blender, blend together the oats, baking powder & oatbran

Then add in the rest of the ingredient and blend

Add more milk if needed ( you want a cake batter consistency)

Grease a donut pan

Preheat oven to 170

Add in the batter to the donut pan

Add the blueberries & strawberries

Bake for 8 -10 minutes

Let cool completely

Then top with a drizzle 0% Greek yogurt mixed with powdered sweetener ( i flavoured mine with vanilla)

I do like to make things out of all the bits I have to use up as I really hate waste !
