Low carb shish Kebab !!

Sooo good & really enjoyed this ..

It was #sundaylunch Kebabs for us today ! Do you ever have a random one on a Sunday !?..

really wanted a healthy one , but I’d run out of my spice kits , so I made my own !!..

125 g @arladairyuk skyr yogurt

3 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon chilli flakes (more if you like things hot!)

Juice of 1 lemon

3 cloves garlic /or teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper

400g cubed lean lamb

Half a yellow pepper

Half a green pepper

4 metal skewers

(if you use wooden ones remember to soak in water first)

My Lamb is 117 calories per 100g & 0g carbs ( so i used 100g per skewer)

And Yogurt is 79 calories & 5g carbs for all

Pepper is 24 calories & 5g carbs for all ..

Mix together the yogurt, spices, chilli flakes, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Add the diced lamb and turn to coat thoroughly. Ideally marinate for 2 hours or up to 24 hours (covered in the fridge). But if you haven’t got time , that’s fine

Prepare the barbecue or heat the grill

Thread the lamb onto the skewers, with the pepper and a tomato at both ends .

Cook the lamb for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through in the middle and charred in places on the outside. Turn the kebabs a few times on the BBQ or under the grill to get the kebabs evenly cooked.

I served mine in a @lodough wrap and a bit of salad and picked red cabbage , with @fakeaway kebab sauce & @skinnyfoodco chilli , But you can munch with whatever you like!

It was just under 200 calories & 6g carbs with all my bits ...
