Low carb & calorie Paella

This is so quick & tasty too !!

I’ve been wanting to do this again for a while!

My version of Paella with @spicentice & @barenakedfoodsofficial rice

Shopping list

100g chicken breast (110 calories & 0 carbs)

350g of mixed seafood ( 236 calories & 10.8g carbs)

10g of chorizo ( 46 calories & 0.1g carbs)

1/2 medium onion ( 23 calories & 6.6g carbs)

1/2 red pepper &1/2 green pepper ( 42 calories & 7.6g carbs)

2 garlic cloves

50g of frozen peas ( 38 calories & 6.8g carbs)

1 tbsp of tomato puree ( 24 calories & 5.6g carbs)

250 ml of stock (chicken or veg) 7 calories & 0.5g carbs)

1x packet @barenakedfoodsofficial rice ( 30 calories & 2.2g carbs)

1 lemon

@spicentice paella sachet

The whole pan works out to 546 calories & 39.1g carbs !!

...So 3 portions at 182 calories & 13g carbs each .

Whoop whoop !



Peel and chop the onion and chop peppers. Cut the chorizo and chicken into bite-sized pieces. Finely chop the garlic and make 250ml of stock.

Heat the fry light in a large non-stick pan over medium heat and start frying the onion & garlic , Then add the chicken and cook for 5 mins. Add the chorizo and with the garlic and pepper & peas and cook for a further 5 mins, stirring regularly.

Now add the tomato puree, @barenakedfoodsofficial rice , @spicentice Paella Sachet and stir.

Pour in the stock, add a pinch of salt and black pepper and bring to the boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 mins, stirring now and again to avoid rice from sticking.

Add the seafood and and cook for a further 5 mins or until cooked through. Pop some foil over it and allow to rest.

Serve with lemon wedges.
